The Wegg is designed to catch waves, trim, and be very maneuverable. Between 6’10” and 8’6,” the Wegg has a paddling advantage over most of the boards in the line up. The Wegg has a moderate rocker that works well on small, not so powerful days, but has enough rocker to handle bigger steeper drops. The bottom contour transitions from light belly in the nose to a decent V (with a slight double concave) in the tail. This makes for nice cruising down the line and making off the lips and cut back turns. The rails are more like a shortboard with down rails. Again, this is good for maneuverability. This is a great design if you can only bring one board. It covers all the conditions.
